DDT Jazzband 65 years - Still Rockin’

DDT Jazzband is one of the most long-lasting and inarguably one of the most important Finnish ambassadors of Dixieland and swing music. The band will now be celebrating its 65-year journey with a full serving of swinging jazz classics, performed with brilliant vocalists.

Johanna Försti is among the best known singers in Finland who can handle all genres of popular and rhythm music from jazz and soul to blues and funk. She has gained fame as a superb and soulful interpreter of music.

Mikael Konttinen is a multi-talent in the fields of music and entertainment. He will serve as the anniversary concert’s elegant host and also perform some songs. The singer, who has also been referred to as the Michael Bublé of Finland, has become known as a charismatic and versatile vocalist for a variety of dance bands and big bands.
