Aleksis Kivi Memorial Cottage

Aleksis Kivi Memorial Cottage is a significant Finnish national monument in which the Finnish national writer Aleksis Kivi spent his last months, in the care of his brother's family. The cottage where Aleksis Kivi died is a reminder of what the Tuusula Lake Road looked before the famous villa habitation and artists' community.
