Janne Hanhisuanto is a Finnish musician and composer who has worked actively in music since 1996. He is especially known for his ambient compositions, and his music has been heard in short films, theatre, video games and solo concerts across Finland. In addition to composing, Hanhisuanto designs and builds audio equipment and experimental instruments. “12 Compositions for Piano” gathers early and more recent works from his career.
In Hanhisuanto’s words: “Playing the piano has been for me a way to process emotions and to seek balance through music. I believe that at its most beautiful, music touches and speaks to people even when no common language exists. I hope you find something in this cycle that resonates with you.”
