Alisa Javits:
On Fear and Evil

Feb 15 – Mar 2, 2025

Tallberginkatu 1 C, 00180 Helsinki

On Fear and Evil is the first part of a trilogy that explores three major aspects of a human life.

The work is an installation that combines a single-channel film in the space, sculptures, a piece of human-made landscape, and the enduring, resilient elements of living natural material.

On Fear and Evil explores inner fears and evil — and their interdependence. What kinds of fears do people carry with them, and how can they transform the actions into something evil?

The evil present in human history appears minuscule compared to the immense power of nature, but on an individual level, it is immense.
