Chamber Music Concert: A cellist’s Sunday
FRSO celli

Each year highlights a different section of the FRSO, this year the cellos. 

Among the items on the programme are A Moment of Music for Cello Orchestra composed for the FRSO cellists by Harri Wessman in 1978. 

The audience on Cello Day will also have a chance to hear a movement from the highly-popular Bachianas Brasileiras suite by Villa-Lobos, some music for viols, and AikAika for three cellos by Anneli Arho – a modern cello classic.
