The Ehrensvärd Museum in the Great Courtyard presents the history of the Swedish era of the fortress. Augustin Ehrensvärd, the founder of the fortress, was the first master of the house. The museum contains portraits, miniatures, furniture and oil paintings of Suomenlinna fortress from the 1760s. You can explore the museum’s exhibition at your own pace with a digital guide that unlocks the museum’s stories on your phone.
