Jaakko Hukkanen | I Will Still Be Here
Eemil Karila explores the fragile and interdependent relationship between human beings and the natural world — a connection in which we are both participants and wanderers. His work invites reflection on our place within a larger living network, where boundaries between human and nonhuman, subject and landscape, begin to blur.
Tiina Pyykkinen’s practice focuses on the exploration of bodily memory, non-verbal communication and the experience of temporality. She approaches these themes through e.g.philosophy of mind, neuroscience, and psychology, with a particular interest in how distortions of time and space are formed, and how emotions can be understood as embodied, spatial and relational phenomena.
Jaakko Hukkanen’s works present landscapes with classical forms and measured compositions. His serene colour palette strengthens the works aim, to reach simplicity, creating a harmonious and calm atmosphere. The experience of the space is simultaneously strictly architectural and vivid.
