Would you like to peek into a creative laboratory — a place where insights swirl in the air and creativity is born with a simple wave of a hand? What does a remarkable universe look like, where the absurd laughs, imagination drifts through the skies, and wonder dances among the stars? Welcome to a world of poetry full of adventure!

In our poetry, illustration, and drama classes, we set off on a real journey of exploration! We read poems by Kirsi Kunnas, bring their characters to life, search for their voices, movements, and atmosphere — and invent the places where their story takes place. In this way, we allow imagination to open ever new worlds.
After that, we invent our own extraordinary creations: we make three-dimensional illustrations, draw, cut, glue, and turn simple materials into surprising stage sets.
In our classes, we learn how a book is born — step by step, from the spark of an idea to a finished work. Together we decide what the poetry collection will become.
Creativity unites hearts! That is why the children inspire and support one another, share ideas, and create a warm and fairy-tale-like sense of community.
Finally, we create a shared handmade book — a collection of poems by Kirsi Kunnas with beautiful illustrations made by us.

The course is taught by a visual arts teacher Ekaterina Käppi
