Kohtaamisia 3: Zherbin & Ksenia Voy Kheninen x Risto Puurunen

Kohtaamisia 3 is artificial intelligence art without the artificial intelligence: an interactive installation by three artists, changed by movement and touch.

In the joint exhibition by Zherbin, Ksenia Voy Kheninen and Risto Puurunen, clay, scrap metal, wire, light, glass, sound waves and objects found in the surroundings take shape as interactive works. The works respond to movement and touch: the visitor enters into a dialogue with them and shapes the soundscape that emerges, producing a new version of the work each time.

The works give form to the world as organic, artificial objects, standing as a monument to an era in which technology persistently attempts to imitate mortals.

The exhibition has been curated by photographer Pekka Elomaa together with the gallery’s working group. Kohtaamisia 3 is the third part of the four-part Kohtaamisia exhibition series at Pertin Valinta x Tiketti Galleria.
