Kyiv Classic Ballet: Swan Lake

Ukrainian ballet company Kyiv Classic Ballet is performing the beloved ballet performance Swan Lake at Finlandia Hall.
A classic ballet composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky  is still more than a century after its composition the world’s most danced – and, according to many, the most beautiful ballet. 

The Swan Lake tells the story of love and the eternal battle between light and darkness, which is symbolized by the ballet’s black and white swan. 

The Swan Lake contains all the rich elements of 19th century romantic ballet and is considered the pinnacle of classical dance as it is known today. 

The dancers of the Kyiv Classic Ballet charm with their subtle technique, musicality and lightness of dance. Fine costumes and wonderful scenery complete the ballet enjoyment.
