Lautta-Kino Wine & Film Festival

Lautta-Kino is a new wine & film festival in Lauttasaari, Helsinki, where every film is screened from authentic 35mm film prints, every screening is paired with a carefully selected bottle of wine, and the seaside sauna is kept warm throughout the festival — exactly as a proper wine and film festival should.

For four days, Lautta-Kino brings cinema, wine, and relaxed togetherness to the beautiful seaside surroundings of Lauttasaari, also known as “The Island of the Happy.”

All films are screened on 35mm film at the Police Summer House (Poliisien Kesäkoti) from June 14–16.

In addition, the beachfront saunas at Poliisien Kesäkoti are freely available to Sauna Pass holders daily from 17.00 until midnight.

The festival concludes on June 17 with a special closing concert, Film Music on the Organ, at Lauttasaari Church. Doors open at 15.00 and the concert takes place from 15.30 to 16.30.
