Mayday Run and Yoga

May 1, 2026 | 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Yoga HEL, Street Level

Mayday run event is a guided outdoor run training session for all levels combined with an extra long yin practice inside.

Running is one of the most natural ways to move. It builds on the same cross-body coordination people learn early on — from crawling to walking to running. Running develops endurance quickly and gives the body a different kind of physical load than slower, low-impact movement which is what yoga is.

The running class is for all levels, your jogging speed does not matter.

The run (60 min)

Everyone runs together at an easy, steady pace. This is not a race and no one is left behind! The group stays together and the teacher moves at the pace of the slowest runner.

The run training starts with a proper warm-up and includes simple drills for example to help you find a suitable running pace or breathe effectively.

After the run — extended yin (75 min)

After the run there is a 30 minute break, then a longer yin session to support recovery, ease into longer-held stretches, and give the body time to settle.
