Metka matka! – Dance and circus performance for daycare groups

Metka matka! (‘Wacky Trip!’) is an energetic and warm performance for children that combines dance and circus.

The performance follows Vekkuli-Vilma’s adventures as she makes her way to the mysterious village of Metkala. Along the way, we see skilful juggling, flexible dancing and inventive acrobatic feats.

In the performance, Vekkuli-Vilma encounters a series of tricky problems and puzzles on her journey, which she must solve in order to reach the village of Metkala before nightfall. The countdown to adventure has begun!

Metka matka! is a warm, imagination-tickling and delightfully skilful performance that takes children on an adventure where cooperation and creativity always lead the way. The performance was awarded the 2026 Pikku Itu prize by the children’s theatre idea incubator ITU.
