Summer Holiday Program at Museum Leikki: Saturday with Winnie the Pooh

Summer at Leikki – the Museum of Play is full of fun! From June 29 to August 11, the museum is open daily from 10.00 to 17.00, with activities every day. On Saturdays, the program is dedicated to the beloved 100-year-old Winnie the Pooh, celebrating the Half Acre of History mini exhibition. Activities are included in the admission ticket unless otherwise stated. 

Saturday with Winnie the Pooh program:

10:30–12:30 Winnie the Pooh Bookmark Workshop
Make a cute bookmark featuring characters from the Hundred Acre Wood.

13:00–13:30 Winnie the Pooh Story Time (in Finnish)
Listen to delightful Winnie the Pooh stories in the museum’s story forest.

13:30–15:00 Winnie the Pooh Birthday Cake Workshop
Create imaginative birthday cakes for Winnie the Pooh’s 100th anniversary. Workshop fee €2/cake.

Find the Winnie the Pooh characters hidden around the museum exhibition.

LEGO Building Workshop

LEGO fans of all ages can enjoy the joy of building in the LEGO workshop.

Toy Lending Station

Out and about for playtime! During the summer holiday program, you can borrow various outdoor games, toys, and other fun activities from the Toy Lending Station during the museum’s opening hours for use in the courtyard.
