Vuosirenkaita: 60th anniversary exhibition of the Haaga Art Society
May 23 – Jun 26, 2026
Klaneettitie 5, 00420 Helsinki
The Haaga Art Society’s anniversary exhibition presents 60 years of the society’s activities and fills Kanneltalo with art and stories.
The Kanneltalo Gallery exhibition brings together works by Haaga Art Society artists from different decades. The exhibition features paintings, graphic art prints, photographs and sculptures reflecting the expression of individual artists but also the long and rich tradition of the community. The works reflect the styles, experiments and personal views of their creators over different eras. In addition to older works, recent works will also be exhibited, offering the viewer the opportunity to travel through time.
Founded in 1966 in Pohjois-Haaga, the Haaga Art Society is an important local cultural institution, providing opportunities for community-based creation and presentation of art. Over the years, the society has organised numerous exhibitions, courses, workshops and collaborative projects that have provided inspiration and learning for both experienced artists and novices.
The exhibition will also present the history and activities of the club. The summer exhibition is not only a celebration of art, but also a tribute to those who have made the Haaga Art Society what it is today: an active, warm community where art has a place to thrive. The exhibition invites current and former members and all art lovers to celebrate the past decades and look to the future together.
Free entry.
