Yksi – A Group Exhibition by Photography Students

Yksi is the traditional exhibition project of the first-year Photography students at Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Arts, culminating the spring semester studies. 

The exhibition brings together photographic works by 20 artists, developed from their own individual starting points, with themes exploring presence, personal experiences, and societal phenomena.

Alongside traditional photographic prints, the exhibition also features installations and photobook works. Yksi offers a glimpse into the artists’ ways of thinking, working, and perceiving the world through photography.

Sirius Baker, Urho Högman, Aurora Kantola, Ruusa Kautto, Tom Kostet, Annu Kukkonen, Viivi Lehtovaara, Taika Marttinen, Martta Myllyniemi, Maija Perko, Kadi-Ly Pund, Maija Pöysti, Nora Relander, Lotta Repo, Elina Sarvi, S.H. Suomalainen, Okko Tamminen, Lumi Tolonen, Annika Uotila and Veera Vesaniemi.

The exhibition has been supervised by Pauliina Pasanen and Anu Akkanen.
