Kulttuuritalo – Helsinki Hall of Culture

Sturenkatu 4, 00510 Helsinki

Kulttuuritalo, inaugurated in 1958, has been drawing full crowds for concerts since the 1960s. Kulttuuritalo holds a significant place in both Finnish music history and Finnish architecture. Designed by Alvar Aalto, the building continues to thrive at the heart of Finnish music life and event culture. Aalto’s signature is particularly visible in the building’s arched shape and organic details.

Kulttuuritalo is open to the ticket holders during events.

Kulttuuritalo’s own restaurant, Bistro & Baari Sopu, operates as a lunch restaurant on weekdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. Sopu also serves customers attending events in the evenings.
