Kulttuuritalo – Helsinki Hall of Culture

Sturenkatu 4, 00510 Helsinki

Alppiharju

House of Culture, inaugurated in 1958, has been drawing full crowds for concerts since the 1960s. House of Culture holds a significant place in both Finnish music history and Finnish architecture. Designed by Alvar Aalto, the building continues to thrive at the heart of Finnish music life and event culture. Aalto’s signature is particularly visible in the building’s arched shape and organic details.

House of Culture is open to the ticket holders during events.

House of Culture’s own restaurant, Bistro & Baari Sopu, operates as a lunch restaurant on weekdays from 11.00 to 14.00. Sopu also serves customers attending events in the evenings.
