Summer Shop at Suomenlinna

From the Summer Shop, you’ll find the loveliest souvenirs and mementos. The Summer Shop operates in a former warehouse for household supplies and horse feed, built in 1876. In the early years of Finland’s independence, locals referred to the building as the “oat warehouse.” The building also houses the summer shop of Suomenlinna’s artisan community. Unique glass, ceramic, and textile works are created in studios at Suomenlinna. The Summer Shop is open during the summer season.
