Naisen Peili (The Woman's Mirror) is a three-year project of the OSIRIS Theatre, in which the stories of women who have moved to Finland and remained in the dark are heard in their own voices.

STORIES OF OTHERNESS, PARTICIPATION, DETACHMENT, JOY, FREEDOM, PREJUDICE, FEAR AND LOVE.

Women have gathered to listen to and tell stories to each other: sensitive, cruel, beautiful, strange, multi-layered, even sad stories. The women sink their hands into clay and meet each other through common dance, music and fire.

The performance features storytellers, actors, dancers, musicians and a visual artist.

The main characters met an artist from OSIRIS Theatre in 2020, which they had never heard of before. These encounters initially gave rise to documentary portraits, audio works. The first audio documentaries were broadcast at YLE Radio 1 in October and are still available through Yle Areena. The encounters were also used to produce sculptures, photographs, music and performance art, portraits, called Minun Elämäni (My Life).
