75€ / person
Leave the city behind and find a secret nature haven of the locals! Join on a forest bathing experience on the beautiful Harakka Island, just a 10-minute boat ride away.
Forest bathing, or “shinrin-yoku,” is a mindfulness-based method that enhances the health benefits of nature, effectively reduces stress, strengthens the immune system, and recharges you with new vitality. Forest bathing is as much about listening to yourself as it is about listening to nature.
The guidewill meet you at Ullanlinnanlaituri pier. From the boat you can admire the city from the sea and begin transitioning to a different state of mind. You’re free to forget the demands of everyday life and step into a technology-free zone, into an authentic archipelago atmosphere.
At shore, you’ll be greeted by the island’s many birds and imagination-fueling rock formations. You’ll sense the marine nature with every cell of your body and let the atmosphere carry you to another dimension. You’ll climb to the top of the rock and let your gaze wander freely on the horizon. You’ll find yourself deeply relaxed and immersed in the enjoyment of being alive.
You’ll walk slowly for about 1 km and enjoy guided nature connection practices led by a certified forest therapy and wilderness guide.
Finally, the participants of the tour will gather around a campfire to share their experiences and indulge in coffee, wild berry shots, and Finnish pastries.
Visit to the Harakka Nature Centre is also possible.
