Finnfoto Gallery is a free photo gallery open for everyone at Redi Mall.

Finnfoto Gallery is a free photo gallery open for everyone at Redi Mall. The goal of the gallery, founded by Finnfoto, the central association of the photography industry, is to bring photographs and their creators even closer to visitors.

The first exhibition of the gallery is Abandoned Nordic by Tanja Palmunen and Kimmo Parhiala, which is a visual art project based in Helsinki. At Abandoned Nordic, the artists combine enchanting photography with a storyline from their journeys in order to create a harsh, but intriguing, vision of urban wilderness.

Tanja Palmunen and Kimmo Parhiala travel to abandoned places around the Nordic countries, and beyond, seeking places which have been taken over by silence.
