The science fiction adventure film Lightyear is the backstory of space ranger Buzz Lightyear, the model of a popular toy, and follows the legendary hero’s adventures in outer space.

Buzz finds himself marooned on a hostile planet 4.2 million lightyears away from Earth together with his commander and crew. Jeopardising their mission is the defiant Zurg, who is using his relentless army of robots to seek his mysterious goals.
