Alppila Church

Kotkankatu 2, 00510 Helsinki

The Alppila church serves the densely populated area next to the Linnanmäki amusement park. The building, which dates back to 1957, was designed by architects, Keijo Ström and Olavi Tuomisto. The 26-stop organ was built by the Kangasala organ factory in 1958. Its mechanic electro-pneumatic structure is unique in Finland. There are also regular church services in Chinese, Estonian and Hungarian.
