The conversation draws on Antti Heikkinen’s book Sellasta (Otava, 2025).

Seela Sella has performed unforgettable roles for seven decades. She has made her way from Pispala into the hearts of the entire nation and continues to captivate audiences with her precise and nuanced acting.

The heartfelt and story-driven book follows the master across various stages and behind the curtains. In it, Sella recounts the insights gained from her theatre work and life experiences with wisdom, passion, bravery and a playful sparkle in her eye. This unique biography is also a cornucopia of stories and anecdotes.
