Ad Astra: Nuorten kuvataidekurssi – Art Course for Youth – 11–18-year-olds, born 2008-2015

Ad Astra offers young people a unique opportunity to explore visual arts and learn various drawing and painting techniques in a safe and creative environment where every voice and artistic idea is valued.

The course explores a variety of drawing and painting techniques, as well as methods in decorative and applied arts, using diverse materials. All activities take place in a safe and inclusive environment where discrimination and racism are not tolerated, and every voice is valued. Participants also have the opportunity to join art excursions and exhibition visits, as well as creative work incorporating elements of art therapy. The course is taught in English, Finnish, Russian, and Ukrainian, and is led by professional visual artist Kateryna Harahulia. Participation is free of charge.
