Metsän suojassa – In the Shelter of the Forest – Metsäimprodialogi (Forest improv dialogue)

Jukka Ilmonen’s forest dialogue aims to view forest-related matters through a different lens, with peculiar participants.

The forest dialogue – an event featuring less dialogue and more conflict – has already attracted participants such as a willow tit, a European spruce bark beetle, a representative of an investment fund from Boston and a Japanese eco-terrorist to take part (if not behind bars at the time), as well as Virtaska, a grumpy cottage owner. Probably a couple others as well.

The event is part of the multi-sensory In the Shelter of the Forest exhibition and event series that invites you to reflect on the future of the forest through art, science and participation. Learn more about the event series.

The exhibition and events are part of the environmental programme of the City of Helsinki Cultural Services.
