Adrienn Újházi: Unseen Artifacts

Nov 13, 2026 – Jan 15, 2027

Liszt Institute

Kaisaniemenkatu 10, 00100 Helsinki

Unseen Artifacts examine the biological and material processes that occur in the human body and its environment beyond the limits of direct perception. These microbial and living systems largely remain invisible, becoming perceptible only when their effects manifest in larger, visible forms.

Through digital documentation, material samples, and data translations, the exhibition presents living matter as an active, self-organizing agent. By combining artistic and research-based methods, Unseen Artifacts situates perception as a relational process between bodies, environments, and technologies.

The exhibition not only invites the study of biological and ecological systems but also encourages reflection on the invisible interactions that shape our daily lives, health, and surroundings.

Adrienn Újházi is a visual artist from Novi Sad Serbia, working at the intersection of art, science, and technology. She has participated in numerous international exhibitions, projects, and collaborations, and has received several awards and scholarships.
