As the Managing Director at AudioUK, with over 15 years of experience working with giants like the BBC, Spotify, and AudibleUK. Chloe joined the 90 Day Finn program to understand more about Finland’s podcast advertising infrastructure but also to experience the culture and life of Finland.

Diego, a film director, CEO, and the founder of Detachment East Ltd from Mexico, brings honour, passion, and resilience to the 90 Day Finn Program. With an impressive background in film direction, visual effects, and animation, Diego has worked on notable projects like “Washington Black” and “The Courier”. His connection to Finland was instant: “After spending some time in Finland. I immediately felt pulled towards the culture and the people. The passion for design permeates across the country and resonates with my core self.” Diego currently splits his time between Helsinki and Mexico. In Finland, he is building ArtBnkr, a digital platform for creating, managing, and publishing creative projects.

Hiromi Tsuiji from Impact Capital has invested particularly in childcare, education, and diverse ways of living and working. She was motivated to join 90 Day Finn to find new perspectives, diverse encounters and embrace the Finnish work culture. The program helped her expand her network in the Nordic market and connect. “Thanks to this program, I could learn about the innovation ecosystem of Helsinki, entrepreneurship education, and life-work balance with other great members.”

Marina, a creative and authentic professional from Brazil, was excited to explore Helsinki. As Head of Innovation at Venturus, she had extensive experience in design thinking, product development, and leading projects on open innovation and diversity. “Initially, my motivation was professional,” Marina shared, “but as I learned more about Finland and its culture, my excitement grew.” During her time in Finland, she immersed herself in the innovation scene, built a strong network, and maintained her healthy habits through running. The program also opened doors within Helsinki’s business ecosystem — including joining a founders’ running group that combined wellness with strategic networking.

Megumi Umeda is a sociable and active professional from Japan. Now working at Askul Corporation, Megumi has a rich history in marketing and advertising, having worked with major companies like Fujitsu Limited and FAST RETAILING CO., LTD. She joined 90 Day Finn to uncover the secrets behind Finland’s reputation as the happiest country in the world. “I expressed my interest in this program because Finland is the happiest country in the world, and I am interested in how you achieve and instill the well-being.”

Rajul, an entrepreneur, investor, and yoga enthusiast from India, is looking forward to broadening his horizons in Helsinki. As a Managing Partner at Leo Capital, Rajul has an extensive track record in entrepreneurship and venture capital, having founded and invested in multiple successful companies. “As an investor, we get deep into sectors and can miss breadth. I am looking at this as an opportunity to diversify – explore different and interesting parts of the world, people, cultures, and technologies. Together with his partner, Shwetank Verma (90 Day Finn in 2022), Rajul set up a fund in Helsinki for Leo Capital and started to invest in the region.

Rodolphe, a Senior Product Designer at Wolt, is passionate about creating thoughtful digital experiences, with a background in fintech, product design, and art direction at companies like Mazarine Digital and BETC Digital. His journey with the 90 Day Finn program was a turning point: shortly after participating, he joined Wolt in Stockholm, fulfilling a long-held dream of living in the Nordics. Though based in Sweden, he collaborates closely with Wolt’s Helsinki office and remains deeply connected to Finnish culture. Alongside his wife Tiffany, who works in the Nordic music industry, Rodolphe continues to embrace the region’s work–life balance, creativity, and values that have profoundly shaped both his personal and professional life.

Sagar Tandon is a Partner at Beyond Impact, an Article 9 climate fund accelerating the transition to a kinder, cleaner, healthier world by investing in humane, regenerative, and decarbonising B2B solutions. A conscious capitalist and a first follower. He channels his insights into a First Followers Substack read by over 5,000 subscribers, where he dissects capital-allocation strategies, the rise of solo capitalists, venture capital, impact investing, serial acquirers, innovative finance, and venture studios. Recently, the VC was part of making several investments in Finnish companies, with him being in the lead. Staci is an award-winning investor, global speaker, consultant, podcast host, and bestselling author of Money Moves: From Financial Stress to Financial Success. Staci visited Helsinki with her daughter Sofia, where they explored Finland’s stunning landscapes and gained deeper insight into the business opportunities in the world’s happiest country. Veronika Marsland has over a decade of experience driving market expansion, partnerships, and go-to-market execution across EMEA and North America. At Microsoft, she built and executed joint go-to-market strategies with Data & AI partners, generating significant revenue growth through partner-led sales. She is the founder of Marsland Consulting, advising technology companies on positioning, demand generation, and scaling into new markets. Veronika also leads Digital Squirrel Studios, a production company focused on branded content and documentary storytelling, reflecting her passion for linking business growth with creativity and culture.

Vincent, a globetrotting tech entrepreneur from Canada, is keen to build lasting relationships within Helsinki’s tech ecosystem. As the CEO of an AI-based energy & climate company, Vincent has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, product management, marketing, advising founders and driving growth. We were taken by how forward-thinking Finland was in regards to renewable energy and climate. It was a natural fit for what we are building at CoeusAI.

Amanda is the president and CEO of Pine Chemicals Association International, a non-profit trade association representing renewable raw materials derived from pine trees. Drawn to Finland’s similar approach to sustainability, she joined the Nordic dialogue on circular economy concepts and programs in that showcase the region’s innovations. Amanda sought collaboration with stakeholders in pine forestry, renewable raw materials, academia, government, and the sustainability sector to co-create educational initiatives, and raise awareness of the global impact of pine-based products in everyday life.

Amelia is a strategy and innovation partner at Lexicon Strategies and co-founder of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Emory University, where she helped shape a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. Previously, she led global initiatives at Accenture, a leading consulting and technology firm. A creative as well as a strategist, Amelia founded Z Tasty Life, a platform where she helps individuals and small organizations tell their stories through her photojournalism and writing. After spending a year and a half traveling across 12 European countries, she is now based in Colorado, USA. As a 90 Day Finn, she immersed herself in impact-driven companies, academia, and NGOs, while also engaging in dialogues on innovation, culture, philosophy, poetry, eastern spirituality, and photography.

Jessica is a tech entrepreneur and Forbes contributor passionate about sustainability and data privacy. She founded Monadd, a home bill management platform, and actively advocates for better data ethics in tech. Having lived in seven cities across four countries, she values how lifestyle influences productivity and became a 90 Day Finn to explore how Finland integrates sustainability and ethics into business transformation. Jessica connected with Helsinki’s tech ecosystem and learned how Finnish businesses build lasting impact beyond their borders.

Joshua is the Managing Director and Global Head for Redesign Health, a health tech venture builder (based in USA and Saudi Arabia). He is a serial entrepreneur and startup investor having sold his last company and brought the merged entity public on the NASDAQ. As a 90 Day Finn, he explored Finland as a European hub and is currently working to raise a fund for Redesign Health in Finland.

Kristin, a Litigation Partner at Dentons in the U.S., joined the program to reconnect with her Finnish heritage and explore the Nordic legal and business landscape. Based in Honolulu, she advises global clients in real estate, hospitality, and intellectual property and actively supports civil rights initiatives in Hawaii. During the program, she built relationships with Finnish lawyers and businesses in media, tech, and commodities while expanding her legal referral network. Kristin continues to support Finnish brands in the U.S. and welcomes opportunities to assist companies looking for legal guidance through Dentons’ global network.

Masahiro Kunieda is a Business Creation Lead at Moon Creative Lab, a venture studio in Tokyo and San Francisco born out of Mitsui & Co., with expertise in strategic and cultural design. With a background in energy plant engineering and design entrepreneurship, he is passionate about building a sustainable, well-being-focused society—one he sees embodied in Finland. In pursuit of this vision, he currently leads business cluster creation in collaboration with international tech startups at Moon and operates a global design community (Meaningful) comprised of alumni who have studied design management across Europe and the United States. Having earned his master’s degree in International Design Business Management (IDBM) at Aalto University, Masa returned to Finland as a “90 Day Finn” to deepen his understanding of Finnish culture and its innovation ecosystem and to help build bridges between Japan and Finland. Yashodhan is the Chief scientist owner and Executive Director of the GIIAVA Group, which prioritises sustainability and works to add value to agriculture while creating circular routes to upcycle byproducts. As a 90 Day Finn, Yash looked into expanding GIIAVA’s R&D, manufacturing and business collaboration in the Nordics through Finland.

Yusuke works at Venture Café Fukuoka. Previously, he worked on joint projects between Fukuoka and Helsinki. The collaboration inspired him to apply to 90 Day Finn to experience Helsinki’s beautiful nature, its liveability, work-life balance, and daily sauna experience. Yusuke’s stay strengthened the relationship between Helsinki and Fukuoka, leading to joint events and collaborative activities between the two cities.

Catherine is an innovator and co-founder of 20fifty, a company focused on modern application development and serverless cloud computing. A mentor and public speaker, she has delivered keynotes at events like AWS Summit CPT and Tech4Africa and has earned recognition including “Most Innovative Woman in Cloud Innovation” and a spot in Mail & Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans. Catherine joined the 90 Day Finn program to connect with forward-thinking individuals and exchange ideas on innovation, AI, and meaningful product development while also enjoying Finnish culture and food. Catherin leveraged the 90 Day Finn alumni network and is now building a business with three fellow alumni from different cohorts.

Colin is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor who has founded companies in 17 countries and now helps founders scale to $100M ARR through his company, Capability Brown. With roots as a professional rowing coach—training Olympic athletes and working on the London 2012 Games—he later transitioned into consulting and co-founded a successful EdTech startup in Singapore, followed by private equity work in the U.S. Colin lives in Finland with his wife and children, who are completing their education in Finland. He coaches founders who want to create billions in revenue and is also building a venture capital fund.

Damon, CEO and Co-Founder of Mixx Reality, is a U.S.-based entrepreneur and immersive tech pioneer working at the intersection of Web 3D, XR, IoT, and the built environment. With experience at Samsung Research America, SIMLAB, and as co-founder of IDEAbuilder, he joined the 90 Day Finn program to connect with Finnish startups and co-founded Mixx Reality during his stay. Damon now contributes to Finland’s startup ecosystem as a member of FiBAN and the Suomen Yrittäjät Migrant Entrepreneur Committee, supporting immigrant founders and fostering cross-border tech collaboration.

Debbie, was the CEO of Act Now Coalition, which is a U.S.-based nonprofit leader with roots in Taiwan and Sweden, creating open-source data tools to address global issues like Covid-19 and climate change. With a background in global policy and business at Google, she joined the 90 Day Finn program to better understand Helsinki’s social systems, explore local solutions, and reconnect with Nordic values of governance and well-being. The experience shaped her pivot toward political strategy and democratic innovation through The Act Now Project, and later, her return to psychotherapy studies with a focus on mental health and psychedelics. Now based in Sweden, Debbie continues to explore collaborations across Finland’s mental health, AI, and psychedelic research communities while advocating for deeper alumni engagement, seed funding, and advisory roles that drive real outcomes.

Dominique and his wife, Tanya, began their co-founder journey to spend their daughter’s first year at home, and years later with two children and three successful companies they continue balancing family and professional growth. Dominique brings over 30 years of global experience in the entertainment industry and a deep passion for cultural integration, while Tanya, a former newsroom supervisor at Business Wire and graduate of the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong, enjoys Chinese calligraphy and historical literature. As 90 Day Finns, they explored which country is the perfect fit for their European HQ, as well as connected with partners, customers and investors from the region.

Isaac, originally from Accra, Ghana, now based in the Washington DC area, is an entrepreneur focused on helping businesses grow and scale through smart technology. As founder and CEO of Origo Software, he provides strategic solutions that drive revenue, protect assets, and advance business goals through tech-driven innovation. Valuing work-life balance, Isaac enjoys playing the piano, writing music, and spending time outdoors. Through the 90 Day Finn program, he connected with potential business partners and explored the available business opportunities in the region.

Maya, Vice President at the AAA-ICDR Institute and Executive Director of the Justice Technology Association, is a Silicon Valley–born innovation leader working at the intersection of law, technology, and social impact. With a background in legal practice, behavioural science, venture capital, and tech, she supports startups advancing equitable legal access and advises high-growth ventures on investment and innovation strategy. As a 90 Day Finn, Maya explored Finland’s legal and tech ecosystems, sharing her expertise in justice innovation and systems change. Maya joined the 90 Day Finn program together with her husband Matt and their two boys. She continues to drive transformation globally by designing scalable solutions that expand opportunity and build a more inclusive future for the legal industry.

Roberta is the co-founder and CEO of G-Gravity, an innovation hub and open innovation platform based in Milan, Rome and Helsinki, focused on Lifescience, health, sustainability, and deep-tech ecosystems. Building on over 25 years of consulting experience across multiple industries, she leads initiatives that connect corporates, startups, and research to foster collaborative innovation. She also contributes as a writer and speaker on Innovation and Future Trends. In Finland, Roberta launched the Vantaa Future Hub in 2025 with the City of Vantaa and has since initiated collaborations with other local stakeholders, research centers, and companies to expand the G-Gravity international innovation network and promote sustainable business growth. Fellow alum Sagar Tandon joined as Senior Ecosystem Advisor, representing Beyond Impact VC.

Shwetank is the co-founder of Leo Capital, an early-stage venture capital fund backed by institutional investors from Singapore, Silicon Valley and Nordics. With a background in leading Open Innovation at MetLife Asia and advising senior leader through LumenLab, he brings deep expertise in startup collaboration, growth, and product development. Shwetank, along with his co-founders, Rajul, who later joined the 90 Day Finn program, set up Leo Capital’s Nordic headquarters in Helsinki.

Steve is an entrepreneur and investor who helps enterprises, startups, and non-profits scale their operations and align teams around clear, long-term strategies — without compromising their commitment to being responsible global citizens. He has moved to Finland with his wife, Dinah, and currently serves on the boards of several Finnish companies while also investing as a business angel.

Andro is a Finland-based entrepreneur, investor, and engineer who builds bankable climate ventures between the Nordics and Latin America. He connects the dots beyond the obvious, aligning companies, governments, and investors to move projects from pilot to scale with blended finance (private, EU, Business Finland, IDB, CORFO) and hard decarbonisation KPIs. Focus: sustainable mining (tailings-to-value, critical minerals), ports & logistics decarbonisation, smart and sustainable cities and territories, renewables & H₂/e-fuels, and the forest bioeconomy. Recent work: more than USD 50M in co-funding secured, Nordic tech pilots launched with Chilean stakeholders, and SPVs/JVs formed to align incentives. Grounded in sustainable impact (measurable environmental, economic, and social value), he’s based in Helsinki, active in Chile, and is seeking industrials, OEMs, startups, and financiers to co-develop funded pilots and scale-ready SPVs.

Alli works for a global venture capital fund that invests in interactive entertainment. The largest vertical of their portfolio is video game studios. They already have some investments in Finland, and he wanted to explore other opportunities here as well. Alli wanted to help build ties and connections between Finland and Los Angeles. He also wanted to expose their daughter and themselves to more diverse cultures. They experienced the Northern European lifestyle as a change of pace from sunny Southern California.

Fernando Ferrer is an award-winning data engineer, architect, and AI professor with 20+ years of experience. He founded Nerio Data School and co-founded Q2 Metrics, a healthcare analytics firm acquired in 2016. As an angel investor and mentor, he supports tech ventures and has worked with Pfizer, Paramount, UFC, FIFA, and the Olympics. He’s also an advisor to Marsland Institute (co-founded by two other 90 Day Finn alumni) and a TopTal-certified data engineer (top 3% globally). With a global career across five countries, Fernando is passionate about innovation, education, and ethical AI.

Jeff is the co-founder and CEO of Admetsys, a biomedical technology company at the forefront of critical care automation. He is the primary architect of the company’s clinical robotics platform, which brings together advanced biosensing, machine intelligence, and adaptive therapeutic delivery. An economist by training and a technologist by practice, Jeff has worked in life sciences, semiconductors, energy, and finance. He specialises in the design of adaptive systems and organisations that build and use these, with particular technical expertise in areas including artificial intelligence, robotics, distributed systems, and human-computer interaction.

Kevin is a technical entrepreneur based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2024, he co-founded MightierAI, which uses AI to simplify questionnaire responses for enterprise sales and security processes. The company has secured clients including Talkspace, GoodRx, and Sermo and closed a $1.25M pre-seed round in early 2025. With a background in data analytics, engineering, and product management, Kevin has developed a knack for explaining complex concepts clearly—a capability that’s central to MightierAI’s mission. Participating in 90 Day Finn’s first cohort in 2021 connected him with lifelong friends and expanded his network and opportunities across global markets.

Ladi is the Senior Director of Global Engagement at the University of Washington, where she leads international partnerships and serves as the primary liaison for government, corporate, nonprofit, and academic collaborators around the world. In her current role, Ladi collaborates regularly with the Embassy of Finland in Washington, DC, and works closely with Finland’s honorary consuls in Washington state. Sean and Ladi were proud to welcome members of the inaugural 90 Day Finn program cohort in 2021. Since their time in Helsinki, they’ve continued to foster meaningful and lasting connections between U.S. and Finnish institutions—working with partners such as Aalto University, the University of Helsinki, Metropolia University, NOKIA, and more.

Sean serves as the Executive Director and CEO of the Global Innovation Exchange (GIX), a tech-focused leadership institute at the University of Washington (Seattle), launched in partnership with Microsoft and supported by T-Mobile US, Meta, Amazon, and other leading technology companies.
