Criss-crossed with hundreds of waterways, home of the floating markets, for generations, the Mekong River is where life has evolved in Southwestern Vietnam. In the Mekong Delta region, street-food vendors address themselves as grandmas, aunts and uncles to customers.
The Mekong restaurants mission is to bring these family chef recipes to the customers. Mekong Restaurant serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine, including vegan dishes that signify Southwestern Vietnam flavors. The signature dishes are Hutieu (rice noodles soups with pork, pork heart, pork liver, quail egg and tiger prawn), and Banhtam (thick rice noodles, vegan pigskin, pickles, grilled pork shoulder, served with coconut cream and sweet fish sauce).
