Eppu Normaali first came to the attention of the general public in 1979, when they released their debut album "Aknepop". The album contained catchy songs like "Poliisi pamputtaa taas" and "Njet, Njet", which quickly made the band famous. Eppu Normaali's music combines rock, punk and pop, and the band's original sound and sarcastic, social lyrics made them a distinctive force in Finnish music.  

The 1981 album "Maximum Jee&Jee" strengthened Eppu Normaali's position, and hits such as "Baarikärpänen" and "Kitara, taivas ja tähdet" made them popular. 

The band's popularity has not waned over the years, and they have continued to create and perform new music to this day. Eppu Normaali is not only a band; it is part of Finland's musical identity. They have inspired many other bands and artists and left a lasting mark on the history of rock in Finland.
