The artist who fought his way to the number one spot in Finnish rap scene with determined work is known, e.g. from the iconic "Chosen One" (2016), the hugely successful "Diplomaatti" (2019), the "Kalamies" (2020) album that showcased the artist's versatility, and the Emma award-winning "Vastustamaton" (2022) album. 

The singles preceding the latest album collected more than 20 million streams and the album as a whole claimed the "Album of the Year" and "Best-selling album of the year" Emma Awards.

Investing in high-quality production, Gettomasa uncompromisingly sticks to his own style - from one album, song and beat to another. Born in Montreal, Canada, raised in Jyväskylä in Central Finland, he works with producers such as Ruuben and MD$, whose collaboration resulted in the hits Lössi and Silmät.
