AnnanHouse: sparkle and glitter – Disco for the whole family!

Welcome to celebrate the end of the autumn season and the magic of winter with dance!

AnnanHouse disco for the whole family takes over the Annantalo hall and invites families from babies to grandpa to the dance floor. The theme of the disco is sparkle and glitter. If you want, you can dress up to the theme or visit Annantalo's own costume shop, where you can lend wonderful clothing for the disco.
The music will be provided by Annantalo's own DJ Nicolas Sebastien, who will be serving top music from house to disco. During the evening, guided tours for families will be held to the interactive exhibitions The Incredible Machine and Self titled.

From 16:00 Costume shop BLING opens! Welcome to try on and borrow wonderful and funny outfits for the disco.
On the 2nd floor, Glitternists create glittery make-up with an eco-glitter and in the reflector workshop you can make shiny reflectors.
Pop up cafe Skidi Kimalle opens.

At 17.30 and 18.15 dance lessons by art educator Sanna Kuusisto

At 17.45 and 18.30 guided tours for families to the exhibitions The Miraculous Machine and Self Titled. The guided tours starts in front of the gallery on the 1st floor.

19.05-19.20 Aura of puppets: Sparrow
In the front yard of Annantalo
Sparrow is a large lantern puppet that flies over the heads of the audience. It is a delightfully unexpected encounter, as well as an elegy for the so familiar but endangered bird. Sparrow brings hope, magic and beauty.
