Art workshops at the summer yard

Come and make wonderful artsy things in Vuotalo’s yard! Art workshops at the summer yard are open to everyone and free of charge, and there is no need to register in advance.

Let’s make art together with different themes and techniques. If it rains and storms, the workshop moves to the Vuotalo lobby. The workshops are led by Chloé Mahy-Hulkko.

Thursday, 6 June from 1 pm to 3 pm
Snapshot with salt
Salt works are volatile, but you can take pictures of them with your own camera before the salt mixes and the image is destroyed. Not suitable for children under three years of age.

Friday, 7 June from 1 pm to 3 pm
To the skies!
Folding and flying paper aeroplanes from recycled paper. Whose aeroplane will fly the longest distance?

Thursday, 13 June from 1 pm to 3 pm
Rock painting for stairs
We will make a rock painting for stairs and talk about what natural materials the ancestors got paint colour from.

Friday, 14 June from 1 pm to 3 pm
Macramé basics
Let’s learn together how to weave macramé nodes.
