Contemporary circus performance about forest, roots and life – the video game generation’s longing for nature.

Immersive artificial forests are grown on stage when video art intertwines with object manipulation and juggling on this cyber shamanic journey. Solo performance of Tuomas Vuorinen is a personal quest to find meaning and fulfilment by re-establishing the connection with nature. A mysterious dream from childhood is his guide in the search for the source of vitality. There are sections where the music is loud, theatre smoke and strobe effects are used.

Maannos is the ninth performance of Blind Gut Company. Blind Gut Company is an experimental contemporary circus group founded in 2015, whose performances look at the world with a playful and critical approach. The group creates touching and thought-provoking performances for viewers of all ages.
