Cloudbody - an Ecology of Dreams #1

What kind of memories arise in different phases of people's lives? How do one merge with those memories and how do the memories become a part of selfhood, a part that one carries inside that is unconscious and often mute. What kind of metamorphoses are created by stepping into the image of memory?

Cloudbody – an ecology of dreams #1 is a choreography for text, voice and image. Memories and dreams merge forming a fabric where the viewer becomes an experiencer in this surrealistic dramaturgy that materializes the logic of dreams. The room-like space creates a setting for a somatic sound art work in which the different layers of memory form an ecology of dreams. Cloudbody – an ecology of dreams #1 is the first part of Cloudbody performance series where Liisa Pentti continues the dialogue and physical practice taking place in the space between the poetic body and the viewer.
