D-Ark Lab is an experimental space that invites you to explore the collections in exciting new ways and to share your views and input on the exhibits. By employing fresh, interactive approaches in the future exhibitions, the museum hopes to offer  visitors a more inspirational museum experience and lively encounters with architecture and design.

The A&DO Lab is an interactive exhibition that inspires learning and invites you to reflect on things you cherish in your local neighbourhood. 

The Exhibition Lab presents regularly refreshed temporary exhibitions on changing themes.
The exhibition ” Samples of Perfection – Origins of the Design Museum Collection” curated by art historian Leena Elina Valkeapää, invites exploration of Design Museum’s earliest collection acquisitions from the 1870s.

The Dialogue Lab invites you to engage all your senses and interact holistically with our objects, both familiar design classics and also some surprising highlights from our collections.
