Edible Park
The Mustikkamaa Edible Park will open once again for young people and other residents of the city this summer.
Our beautiful community garden is located in Mustikkamaa, 200 metres from the gate of Korkeasaari Zoo towards the beach. The urban natural environment of the Edible Park provides an excellent setting for creative work, art-themed and nature-themed workshops, gardening and caring for animals. The park hosts free environmental activities for 12–25-year-olds in the summer, including crafts, environmental art, natural cosmetics, chicken tending, gardening and enjoying refreshments in the young people’s summer café. Workshops for 12–25-year-olds 20 June–21 July Tue–Fri from 12.00 to 17.30. Exception: Opening week 12–16 June, workshops Mon–Fri from 15.00 to 18.00. Young 4H entrepreneurs’ summer café for all park visitors 20 June–28 July Tue–Fri from 12.00 to 16.30.
