Francophonie Concert 2023

The French Institute and Helsinki Chamber Orchestra, in collaboration with the Embassy of Romania and the Embassy of Switzerland in Finland, are arranging the annual Francophonia Concert.

This year, the concert will have as a guest of honour Romania, who is celebrating their 30th anniversary since joining the International Organization of Francophonie. 

The concert will feature for the occasion the Romanian Folk Dances by Béla Bartók. The event will culminate with the performance of Duruflé’s Requiem with the Viva Vox Choir. The concert will be conducted by James Kahane.
