Georg "Joijje" Wadenius

Georg Wadenius started as a jazz guitar player, heavily influenced by Wes Montgomery and Jim Hall.

After 3 years with the renowned fusion group Made in Sweden he was asked to join Blood, Sweat & Tears. He played and recorded with them for 4 years.

During this time he also recorded and played live with Joe Henderson and Ronnie CuberLater on he was a permanent member of the Saturday Night Live Band for 6 years and recorded and toured with Roberta Flack, Luther Vandross, Simon & Garfunkel and Steely Dan – among countless others.

He now returns to his roots with the trio Gejoma – joined by two of Swedens greatest jazz players, Jonas Holgersson, drums and Mattias Svensson, bass.
