With live music, radio shows, seminars and workshops, the events attempt to build bridges between all music lovers and their communities.

Global Club Nights is produced in collaboration with the Global music Department of Sibelius Academy and Cultural Centre Caisa.

Con Sabor Colombiano
Through its non-traditional instrumentation Llanera Harp and Violin, “Con Sabor Colombiano” exposes Colombian music in an innovative way using folkloric elements mixed with contemporary performance and composition techniques. His concert program includes a great variety of rhythms and musical styles, adaptations of well-known pieces by both composers and authors of emblematic works; inviting the listener to tour and explore the different sounds of Colombia.

The irresistible sounds of Latin band based in Helsinki with their captivating blend of Latin rhythms and jazz influences, this band can transport audiences straight to the vibrant streets of South America. From the pulsating beats of Salsa and cumbia to the soulful sounds of Latin rock and jazz, Pimienta Negra covers the complete spectrum of the Latin music scene.

Miia Laine is a Helsinki-based radio producer, DJ and arts worker. Previously working 3 years managing the community and student radio SOAS Radio in London, she moved to Helsinki in 2018 and has produced music programs for Radio Helsinki, the Finnish national broadcaster YLE, NTS London, as well as various podcasts.
