Grex Musicus: The Drowned Lovers

Grex Musicus is happy to host Vokalensemblen Röster from Vaasa. Enjoy a summer feeling by the sea with pieces like Sommarsvit by Nils-Eric Fougstedt and Vesitarinoita by Virpi Eroma.

The second half transports us to the bottom of a lake: deep blues and dark greens kissed by the autumn sun. The programme takes to the world of The Drowned Lovers, a piece by a British composer Judith Bingham. The piece borrows themes from The Blue Bird by Stanford. The concert is inspired by this compelling pair.
