Oscar winner Gustavo Santaolalla will give a concert at Hall of Culture in the autumn.
Gustavo Santaolalla, who won two Oscars for the music of the films "Brokeback Mountain" and "Babel", is an Argentinian musician, composer and producer with a career spanning more than half a century.
In the 1960s and 1970s, Santaolalla was part of the Argentinian bands Arco Iris and Soluna, and later after moving to Los Angeles, he became a sought-after producer whose collaborators over the years have included key names in Latin American music, such as Café Tacvba, Julieta Venegas, Leon Gieco and Juanes.
Santaolalla is also a founding member of Bajofondo, which combined Argentinian tango with electronic music.
