This summer, Los Pan Pan will be playing film scores and latino music on the Espa Stage! Includes a large amount of soca, or soul calypso, which is natural to all steel bands.
Los Pan Pan is a 15-person steel band from Kirkkonummi. As the name suggests, they play steel pans, which are melodic percussion instruments made from empty oil barrels. These instruments originate in Trinidad.
Satu Jämsä leads Los Pan Pan, the representative orchestra of the Kirkkonummi Steel Band Association.
