Maunula House Film Club: Filmmaking as the theme
The first film club meeting of the autumn will focus on the birth of cinema. We will look at the early ways of making film and where it all started.
The film club will meet a total of eight times during the autumn, and on four of these occasions we will watch a film in the Metsäpurosali Hall. Instructor, director and artist Zagros Manuchar will introduce the different themes. We will meet filmmaker guests and discuss the films we see.
The film club does not require pre-registration, so you can join when it suits you. The film screenings at Metsäpurosali Hall are open to all. You will be able to influence the content of the club during the autumn. You will get to plan with the others what we will watch and talk about.
