Myrtillius Kauria X Modern Slavery Exhibition (Helsinki Design Week)

Myrtillius Kauria's Modern Slavery exhibition is part of Helsinki Design Week festival. The exhibition is curated by Pertin Valinta's exhibition master, photographer Pekka Elomaa.

Kauria's ryijy and animation works highlight the life of the modern slave, a life of economic starvation and social exclusion, a chronic experience of worthlessness and fear of the next week, the next month and the next year.

Myrtillius Kauria is a self-taught artist who works at the Outsider Art Festival's OAF Academy in 2023.
