Optinen tarha

Optinen tarha is a group of photographers based in Helsinki, whose purpose is to exchange views on photography and share their images with others. 

The group has been meeting regularly to discuss their photos for many years now, and the enthusiasm has not waned. Over the past year, the group's photos have been exhibited at the Malmitalo and at the Tapulikaupunki Library, among others. In the urban post-industrial milieu of Gallery West, the group members present freely their personal visions of photography. 

The January exhibition features the artists' original series of images, with a range of subjects, styles and techniques, including street photography from Helsinki, abstract photography, minimalism and portraiture.
