Pihlajamäki Youth Park’s skate park and skate container
Come and spend a nice summer day at Pihlajamäki Youth Park’s freestyle park, or the better known Savela skate park!
The skate container run by young summer employees is open on weekdays from 4 June until 31 July 11 am - 5.30 pm (closed on Friday 7 June, Friday 21 June and Friday 5 July)
You can borrow scooters, skates, BMX bikes and appropriate pads and helmets from the park’s skate container. During the summer, there will be learning about the safe use of the park for beginners, various guided activities and nice competitions, for example. Young summer employees and youth instructors are also available to help park users in first aid situations. It’s a good idea to bring your own water bottle to the skate park and, of course, a good mood!
Next to the park is also Café Linnunpesä, where you can buy various summer delicacies if you want a snack.
The park’s skate container will be closed on Friday 9 June and 7 July. We also are closed on Midsummer Eve on Friday 21 June 21.
Come and experience one of the best plywood skate parks in Helsinki as well as the pumptrack track and show the craziest tricks with a skateboard, scooter or BMX bike!
