Pike Croquettes in the Helsinki Archipelago

In the heart of Suomenlinna, Cafe Bar Valimo has served homemade pike croquettes with mashed potatoes and yogurt sauce for many years during he summertime.

The dish is decorated with flowers and herbs from restaurant's own flower bed. A touch of clarified butter on top and a juicy wedge of lemon on the side and the dish is ready to serve.

For dessert, you can pick their own rhubarb delicacy made from the rhubarb growing in Suomenlinna. Both of these delicacies can be found on the menu daily 24.5.-9.6.

At Valimo you can enjoy the atmosphere either inside in the vaulted hall by the fireplace or outside on the sunny terrace while admiring the sights of Suomenlinna and the traffic of the guest marina.

With a menu changing daily, the restaurant's food waste has been kept to a minimum. There are always vegan options on the menu as well.
