ROCK THEATRE PLAYS GENESIS - SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND
It's been 50 years since one of the most iconic albums of progressive rock, Selling England by the Pound, was released. The album, considered by many to represent the pinnacle of rock band Genesis progressive career, contains epic solos and strong musical compositions. The album deals with, among other things, a lack of English folk culture and an increased American influence.

PROG ROCK MEETS MODERN POETRY MEETS VISUAL ARTS
In a unique collaboration with artists Rosanna Fellman, Anna-Sofia Nylund and researcher
Kaj Ahlsved, Rock Theatre has created an audiovisual concept, which deals with themes
from Selling England by the Pound, now set in the present day. Has man learned from his
past mistakes with energy crises, class society, excess consumption and the search for
happiness and identity?
