SHAME - European Stories

The 'SHAME - European Stories' exhibition breaks the silence on sexual violence against children while amplifying the voices of survivors. The exhibition will be on display in Helsinki from 27 May to 2 June.

From Italy to Sweden – from Portugal to Finland: award-winning journalist Simone Padovani has interviewed and photographed nearly 100 survivors of childhood sexual violence across Europe as part of the European Justice Initiative. The scale of the phenomenon of sexual violence against children has never before been captured this way. The exhibition amplifies the voices of survivors and extensively documents the injustices they have experienced.
